I couldn't agree more. If this administration can't act legally during a big crisis when everyone is paying attention, what would stop them from disregarding all laws and processes when nobody is?

These are all very good points. We have many similar political views.

On the AZ immigration law - I agree that it is not the best way to go about fixing the problem, but the anger and accusations from the left are ridiculous. It is hardly a civil rights violation to give identification when commiting a crime, traffic violation, or anything that would involve encountering law enforcement. I think the new policies are littered with problems, that they could have gone about differently, but all in all, some of the criticisms are downright laughable.

I don't get the reason that lefties are acting so livid over this new law. The only thing it seeks to do is give police the justification to ask people to present their immigration documents. In nearly all places in the world that's totally fine. Why is that some source of such anger in The USA?

Our major issue in this country is our two political parties. Our forefathers knew that a two party system would be our downfall and took steps to try to stop this type of politics, and thus anyone who seriously thinks that politics isn't corrupt or slaves to Corporate America hasn't not been paying attention. George Jr. will go down in History as one of the worst administrations in history and I could go on for hours showing why, but my point is that the Obama administration has offered nothing different (besides health reform, granted) and has in fact continued nearly every single Bush program. Obama has almost the same political donors and thus has the same pressures as Bush did. Health reform will turn out to be the most expensive and destructive waste of tax payer money ever. I just wish I could offer a better alternative for other frustrated people, but I can't and those that think that the tea partiers are the future, remember that Sarah Palin is an important figure to them.

You're a better man than I am, Ghunda Din. Reading Krugman and the various lefty opinion columnists became a "job Americans won't do" for me a long time ago. Better for my blood pressure that way.
Good stuff on your blog and a nice complement to your tweets - I'll add it to my bookmarks and stop by on occasion.
